Meet Ian

Ian Rada

Senior Technical Recruiter

Ian graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. He has spent the past six years in recruiting, and joined the company in December 2020. He enjoys getting to know candidates’ individual roles, experiences, and goals, and having open conversations to assist in helping to improve their situations. He enjoys building relationships with both candidates and clients, and learning new things every day about the industry. Outside of work Ian spends time doing activities with his daughter and son, running, exploring new places, watching and playing sports, and researching/learning about a variety of interesting topics.

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy being active, exploring, traveling, both watching and playing sports, and spending time with my kids, family, and friends

If you could live anywhere for one year, where would it be and why?
Seattle. It’s a beautiful part of the country, a fun city, and the mild winters don’t hurt either.

What is your taste in music?
I’m all across the board. I listen to rock and alternative the most, but also have metal, pop, and rap/hip hop mixed in.

Who would you cast to play you in a movie about your life?
Matthew Rhys

What is one piece of advice you would give to a jobseeker?
Keeping open communication and being open to conversations. The more open somebody is about what they do and don’t want in a company and position, the smoother processes go. We as recruiters can help guide you when we have the information, and the more conversations you have with companies, the better your individual situation will be.

We have a great team here, and we all pull for each other to succeed for the benefit of the company, the internal staff, our clients, and for the positive impact it has on candidates landing great jobs to improve their situations.
